Building to the Team · The Defenders
Jessica Jones (Season 1)
EssentialSeries2015
A private investigator with powers she resents, against a man who can make anyone do anything. The best-written season here.
Availability changes by country and by week, so this searches JustWatch rather than guessing.
Can you skip Jessica Jones (Season 1)?
No. It carries part of the main Defenders Saga throughline, and what comes after it assumes you have seen it. The next essential title is Daredevil (Season 2). See the full Defenders Saga order.
