Three films: Get Out (2017), Us (2019) and Nope (2022). They do not connect — no shared characters, no universe, no post-credits scene setting anything up.
Watch them in release order anyway, because they get progressively stranger and progressively less interested in resolving. Get Out explains itself completely. Nope does not.

Start with Get Out
Made for four and a half million dollars and took over two hundred and fifty. Peele won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay, and it was his first film as a director — before it he was known as half of a sketch comedy duo.
It is also the most conventionally satisfying of the three. Every element pays off, and the ending resolves.
Then Us, then Nope
Us (2019) is messier and more ambitious — doppelgängers, and Lupita Nyong'o giving two performances that are barely recognisable as the same actor. It does not survive close logical inspection and is not trying to.
Nope (2022) is the one that divides people. A UFO film that is really about spectacle and the cost of filming things, shot on IMAX film stock. It withholds far more than the other two.
What he is making next
A fourth film has been in development for several years. Universal had dated it for October 2026 and then removed it from the schedule, and as of August 2026 it has no release date and has not begun shooting. It is described only as a horror thriller.

He produced but did not direct several things people attribute to him: Candyman (2021, directed by Nia DaCosta), BlacKkKlansman (2018, Spike Lee), Wendell & Wild (2022, Henry Selick) and the Twilight Zone revival. Only the three films above are his as director.
