Can you skip Hawkeye?

No. It carries part of the main MCU throughline, and what comes after it assumes you have seen it. The next essential title is Ms. Marvel. In chronological order, reaching it takes about 46h 38m of essential viewing across 25 titles. See the full MCU order.

Essential as the introduction of Kate Bishop and as the series that brings in Kingpin and Echo, and it is the easiest watch in Marvel's television. Watch Endgame first; the plot turns on what Clint did during the five years in between.

It is a Christmas story, deliberately, and the modest scale is the appeal. A middle-aged man with hearing damage wants to get home to his children by the twenty-fifth and keeps being prevented by a twenty-two-year-old who has decided he is her mentor. Hailee Steinfeld plays Kate as relentlessly, exhaustingly enthusiastic and the pairing works immediately.

The best episode is the fifth, which stops the main plot to tell Yelena's version of Endgame from a flat in a different country, and the kitchen scene between the two women is the best thing in it. The car chase with trick arrows through New York is the most fun action in Phase Four.

Vincent D'Onofrio returning as Kingpin was the first formal connection to the earlier Netflix series and led to Echo and Daredevil: Born Again. The finale is a large fight in a department store and is fine.
